Bourbon Blossoms Infinity Scarf

My first infinity scarf design! This pattern only uses about one skein of yarn with some leftover. The scarf is named after the newest book series by J.R. Ward, a favorite author of mine, called The Bourbon Kings. Hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I did designing it!

Hook: I

Yarn: Aran or Worsted (I Love This Yarn or Red Heart Super Saver recommended)

Other tools:

Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Tape measure recommended

Abbreviations

CH: chain

SK: skip

SC: single crochet

DC: double crochet

SL ST: slip stitch

FHDC: Foundation Half Double Crochet

V-ST: V Stitch (DC, CH 1, DC)

 

FHDC 200, SL ST into first HDC to join (or CH 200, SL ST into first CH, CH 1, HDC in 1st  chain and HDC across, SL ST into first HDC)

R1: CH 1 and then SL ST across. SL ST into first CH from first SL ST made.

R2: CH 2 and puff stitch in SC stitch behind SL ST of the first stitch of previous row, *skip one stitch, puff stitch in next stitch, CH 1*, repeat pattern * to * across row. SL ST into top of first puff stitch.

R3: CH 1, SC across, SL ST into first SC.

R4: CH 1 and then SL ST across. SL ST into first CH from first SL ST made.

R5:  CH 1, SC in ST, *SK 1 ST, V-ST next ST, SK 1 ST, SC in next ST* repeat across, SL ST into first SC.

R6: CH 2, DC into SC ST, *CH 1, SC into V-ST, CH 1, DC into SC ST* repeat across, SL ST into first DC. (This completes your first blossom row.)

R 7-14: Repeat rows 5 & 6.

R15: CH1, SC across, SL ST into first SC.

R16: CH 1 and then SL ST across. SL ST into first CH from first SL ST made.

R17: CH 2 and puff stitch in SC stitch behind SL ST of the first stitch of the previous row, *skip one stitch, puff stitch in next stitch, CH 1*, repeat pattern * to * across row. SL ST into top of first puff stitch.

R18: CH1, SC across, SL ST into first SC.

R19: CH 1 and then SL ST across. SL ST into first CH from first SL ST made.

R20: CH 1, SC across, SL ST into first SC. Cut yarn, tie off, and weave in ends.
